耶魯醫學院發現 兒童患自閉癥源自基因紊亂

　　耶魯醫學院的孤獨癥專家弗瑞德·沃克馬爾博士和艾米·克林是一家國際性研究協會的成員，這個協會由１９個國家的研究人員組成，日前他們已經確定了可能會導致兒童患孤獨癥（自閉癥）的一種基因和一個部位的染色體。

　　該工程始于２００２年，該協會利用“基因芯片”技術從來自大約１２００個家庭的孤獨癥患者中尋找遺傳上的相似之處。他們還對患者的ＤＮＡ進行了掃描，期望找出變異。

　　研究人員發現了ｎｅｕｒｅｘｉｎ １，部分患者擁有這種與神經傳遞素谷氨酸一起作用的基因，而先前就已經有研究證明它與孤獨癥有關。他們還在１１號染色體上找到了一種基因，這種基因也可能與孤獨癥易感性有關。但這種基因還未被確認。研究人員推測，可能有５到６種重要的基因和多達３０種其他的基因與孤獨癥有關。如果一個小孩攜帶有這些基因的話，那么他可能生來就患孤獨癥或一種更嚴重的疾病的幾率會更高。
