音樂訓練與腦部結構的關系

學音樂的小孩不會變壞是我們常聽到的，不過從小學音樂的人的腦部結構的確和沒有學過音樂的人有些不一樣的地方。

在美國神經學會(American Academy of Neurology)在費城所舉行的第53屆年會上一組提出了他們的成果研究人員。研究人員用磁共振造影也就是所謂的MRI對十五位音樂家跟十五位年齡性別相同的非音樂家觀察腦部的結構差異，他們發現在大腦的許多部位中灰質組織的數量上明顯的比一般人多。這項特質在小腦也有類似的表現。

他們的主要目的是想要了解腦部在例如音樂訓練這種密集的外在刺激下的影響。這個研究的結果將可以有助于了解在特定時期中受到特殊環境刺激下的腦部功能或者是灰質組織的生長。研究人員表示一般而言音樂家往往在幼年時便開始接受訓練，這給了他們一個很好的實驗對象。

他們在討論這項結果也表示有可能這也是一種遺傳所造成的現象?？赡苓@些音樂家生來便有這些特質，也因此使他們能夠表現出他們在音樂里的才能。

研究人員表示他們需要更進一步的研究來確定長期而持續性的反復訓練跟腦部結構之間的關系才能了解訓練跟經驗是否是造成這些不同的主因。
