1歲內原發癲癇孤獨癥危險升高其中痙攣者更甚

在第7屆孤獨癥研究的國際會議上,冰島學者Saemundsen等人一項基于冰島人群的研究顯示,100例1歲內曾有原發性癲癇的兒童,長大后13.7%的個體出現孤獨癥(ASD)。

 

研究者說,復發癲癇及不明原因的癲癇是與孤獨癥首要相關的生物學因素之一。病例研究顯示,孤獨癥在那些嬰兒時期出現過痙攣發作(癲癇的一種表現形式)的兒童中患病率高。

 

研究者試圖明確嬰兒1歲內出現的原發癲癇與ASD之間的關聯。他們回顧分析了1982年至1998年冰島兒童醫院的紀錄,對其中的115名兒童進行隨訪。結合對兒童父母的問卷調查和多種針對兒童孤獨癥的評估量表進行評估。

 

結果顯示,95例患兒中,17例嬰兒期出現過痙攣,78例有其他表現形式的癲癇。共有13例患兒患ASD,除1例智力正常外,其余均患有智障,其中6例患兒為嚴重智障(IQ< 20)。

 

在這13例患兒中,6例患兒在嬰兒期出現過痙攣,7例出現其他表現形式的癲癇。

 

嬰兒期出現痙攣者似乎隨后更容易發生ASD(比值比1.55)。有癥狀性癲癇的嬰兒,不論其表現形式如何,長大后發生ASD的危險幾乎是無癥狀性患兒的9倍(比值比8.73)。
