更好理解基因因素可早開始治療孤獨癥

     【醫業網據路透社羅馬訊】據聚集在意大利一個醫學會議上的專家昨天說，數年內，對孤獨癥遺傳性的更好理解可能使患兒在極早期就可開始治療，從而能減輕該病的后果。

    在藍色熱線兒童基金會和美國衛生研究所共同組織的這個關于孤獨癥的國際大會上，美國和意大利的專家都同意本病主要由遺傳引起?！耙坏┙议_了它的遺傳基礎，就能進行極早期的診斷，也就可能通過早期干預來減輕本病的后果”，Modena大學兒童神經精神病學教授卡夫(ErnestoCaffo)告訴路透社記者，“我們猜想可以改善90%，盡管不會完全康復”。

    據與會者說，目前的研究已發現至少4種到多達20種基因可能與孤獨癥有關，很可能在與許多語言疾病有關的7號染色體的長臂和15號染色體上。本病多在3歲前發作，發病率為1/1,000?！盎蜓芯拷o將來的生物學治療帶來了新希望。同時，建立家庭、醫生和教師之間的網絡也是非常重要的”。

    目前，意大利對本國有多少患兒還沒有數據，為提供更好的支持，卡夫和同事已呼吁衛生部建立一個孤獨癥觀察站，以監測病人及其家庭的需要。
