孩子是否是自閉癥的三個核心問題

　　自閉癥及“自閉癥相關障礙”有三個核心(或基本)問題。我們可以藉由以下三組題目，探討孩子是否出現這三個核心問題：

　　1、孩于是否無法建立親密感及溫暖感情?孩于是否會主動找尋能讓他感到自在的大人，譬如母親或主要照顧者?如果他有這個能力，那么他是否喜歡這種親密的關系?

　　2、孩子是否使用表情動作及情緒的表達方式與別人溝通?他是否會使用微笑、皺眉、點頭及其他的互動姿勢，與別人持續進行一連串雙向的情緒信息交流?

　　3、孩子開始使用語言之后，他能有意義地使用這些字匯嗎?這些字匯或象征是否帶有情感或愿望，譬如：“媽咪，我愛你”或“我要喝果汁”，而不只是“這是一張桌子”或“這是一張椅子”?

　　如果孩子不具有這三個基本能力——建立親密感、以一種連續的方式利用表情動作與別人交換情緒感覺、以帶有情緒意向的方式使用字匯或象征，我們就得考慮孩子是否呈現“自閉癥相關障礙”的征候!這三個核心過程(或能力)與孩子實際年齡之間的落差，就代表自閉癥障礙對這個孩子的影響程度。
