　　專家建議，家長應了解以下關于自閉癥的五點常識。

　　1、癥狀表現千差萬別

　　“自閉癥的癥狀表現和嚴重程度有很大差別。”專家說道，“有些家長以為自閉癥患者的表現就該跟‘雨人’一樣，而孩子的表現與此并不相符，他們就會認為，‘孩子沒有自閉癥。’自閉癥的癥狀表現千差萬別，但患者都有一個共同特點：他們難以通過典型方式進行社交互動。”

　　2、早期干預是關鍵

　　“我們要為孩子感知世界創造條件，從而使他們自己打開更多心門。”專家說道，“干預越早，孩子就能獲得越多學習體驗，這將有助于他的心理發育。”

　　3、自閉癥無法根治

　　過去十年中，自閉癥患者數量急劇增加，各種“不可錯過的治療方法”也層出不窮。其實我們還不能確定誘發自閉癥的病因。明確這一點非常必要，家長會疑心是抗生素、飲食、重金屬或其他因素導致孩子患病，花費大量金錢和精力，落得身心疲憊、徒勞無功。”
