      大多數蜜蜂非常忙碌:照顧蜂王和幼蜂、守衛巢穴，并且幾乎不停歇地飛來飛去。不過，也有一些蜜蜂無所事事，而且極少和同伴互動。一項新的研究表明，這些不善交際的昆蟲和自閉癥譜系障礙患者有-些相同的基因序列。蕈形體是大腦中負責諸如社交行為等復雜動作的部分。


　　研究發現，一組不同的基因亞型在對社交情形未作出回應的蜜蜂大腦內異?；钴S。將這組基因同自閉癥譜系障礙、精神分裂癥和抑郁癥相關的一組人類基因進行比對，盡管蜜蜂和人類在進化過程上完全不同，但兩者擁有很多共同的基因。
