美國圖書館對自閉癥讀者的服務

　　美國紐澤西州的Scotch Plains Public Library 和 Fanwood Memorial Library聯合制作了一部教育影片(見下面)供館員參考，影片談到如何服務自閉癥(autism)讀者及他們的家人，包括一些注意事項、技巧...等。他們的用心及對弱勢讀者的重視，令人感動?；蛟S有人會說：我們也想這樣做，但我們沒有人力！或許吧，但參閱他們的作法，希望有一天我們的圖書館也能有此愛心，并對處於邊緣孤獨的讀者提供實際的幫助。

　　其中提到館員可以不理會的行為：哼唱、身體擺動、扭動、踱步；館員不可以不理會的行為：破壞性行為、暴力發怒、很大聲或不恰當的對待其他讀者、不恰當的性行徑(sexual behavior)

　　讓這群人不要邊緣化，將其納入主流讀者行列，讓他們受到尊重、關心及良好的對待！
