“雨人”為什么是低能天才

    美國馬薩諸塞理工學院的研究人員說，缺少一種特定腦蛋白也許能解釋“雨人”即“白癡天才”現象。

　　“雨人”是指那些有智力障礙但卻在某一方面能力出眾的人。

　　據美國趣味科學（ｉｎｔｅｒｅｓｔｉｎｇ?。螅悖椋澹睿悖澹┚W站２月１７日報道，一些孤獨癥患者會表現出非凡才能，比如超凡的機械記憶能力或音樂才能。就像著名影星達斯廷·霍夫曼在影片《雨人》中扮演的角色。

　　研究表明，與普通的老鼠相比，有些轉基因鼠大腦中缺少用來形成突觸的重要蛋白，但它們在學習和記憶方面比普通老鼠能完成得更快更好。

　　突觸是大腦細胞溝通的連接點。但在測試結束數周后，轉基因鼠和普通老鼠一樣不記得它們曾學會的事情。

　　這個研究小組的負責人，馬薩諸塞綜合醫院的神經病科醫生艾伯特·Ｙ·洪說：“這些基因突變鼠在特定領域表現出的非凡學習能力，令人聯想到人類中那些患有自閉癥的低能天才。

　　他們在某些認知領域也許能力低下，但在其他領域卻表現出卓越才能?！?
