紀錄片《一個母親的勇氣：對話自閉癥》

　　為了提高人們對亞斯伯格癥候群和自閉癥的認識，奧斯卡提名導演弗雷德里克森（Fridrik Thor Fridriksson）執導了一部的紀錄片《一個母親的勇氣：對話自閉癥》，這是一部是關于瑪格麗特與患自閉癥的兒子的紀錄片。記錄了一位住在冰島上的母親，為打開患有自閉癥的兒子的心扉而走過的漫長旅途，尋找并嘗試各種治療自閉癥的方法幫助兒子擺脫病痛。

　　由奧斯卡影后凱特?溫絲萊特擔當旁白，影片中瑪格麗特為了需要治療自閉癥的方法，從她的故土冰島出發，周游美國和歐洲列國，約見科學家和自閉癥專家。她還認識了其他飽受自閉癥困擾的家庭。每年，150個小孩中就有1個患上自閉癥，其中男孩比女孩更容易患上，比例為4：1。

　　當瑪格麗特與有自閉小孩的家庭接觸的過程中，她發現這世界上并不是只有她一個人在堅持與自閉癥的戰斗。她與這些家長分享一個自閉小孩每天所需要的各種醫療手段、無止盡的看醫生、治療及其并發癥。許多家庭分享了新療法的信息，這給瑪格麗特帶來一線希望。
