　　美國專家南山講解自閉癥知識

　　助自閉癥兒童早日恢復健康

　　【本報訊】（記者洪英亮通訊員陶明）關愛自閉癥兒童，是南山義工工作的一個重要內容。昨日下午，美國行為分析師托馬斯先生應邀來到南山，為義工及自閉癥兒童家長講解自閉癥知識，從而幫助自閉癥兒童逐步恢復健康。

　　此次活動由南山區星光特殊兒童康復中心發起。下午1時，托馬斯先生的講座在南山圖書館報告廳舉行，100多名自閉癥兒童家長及南山義工準時前來聽講。據介紹，托馬斯先生長期為美國和愛爾蘭等地的自閉癥兒童學校、服務機構的老師和家長提供咨詢和培訓，是自閉癥的權威專家。聽完講座，許多義工和家長掌握了不少關于自閉癥康復的知識，對于今后照顧和訓練自閉癥兒童有很好的啟發。

　　南山義工聯的關愛自閉癥兒童小組，定期開展探訪、游園活動，為他們提供更多接觸外界的機會，早日康復。
