為什么自閉癥孩子越來越多？

　　自閉癥風險增加與基因變異有關，他們的大腦結構與常人有差異，這可能有助于解釋基因如何影響大腦功能、增加自閉癥的可能性。

為什么自閉癥孩子越來越多？

　　威斯康星州醫學院行政助理教授Christopher Pawela博士說：該研究表明特定的基因變異與大腦結構的變化之間有聯系，這項工作可能會催生基因對大腦區域之間的溝通的影響成為研究熱點。

　　雖然攜帶常見的CNTNAP2基因變異作為自閉癥的風險基因標識之一，但兩者之間并沒有絕對性，有可能不會發展成自閉癥。大腦結構的差異可能會影響大腦區域之間的連接和信號傳導。大腦連接的中斷可能會引起神經功能異常如自閉癥。

　　Emily Dennis和加州大學洛杉磯分校醫學院和、州大學洛杉磯分校和昆士蘭大學和昆士蘭醫學研究所研究人員合作，采用了先進的成像技術主要針對大腦健康的攜帶CNTNAP2的年輕人展開研究。
