自閉癥孤獨癥兒童能夠恢復的機會有多少？

   根據兒童心理衛生中心十年來的追蹤研究顯示，有百分之十的自閉癥兒童可恢復到近乎正常人。但是，由于接受治療的年齡已經普遍由以前的五歲提前到現在的二歲左右，明顯的影響到治療的效果，因此，轉為正常的百分比已經提高到百分之二十。這還不包括那些二歲時有自閉癥行為特征，卻到三，四歲時自然與人溝通者的自閉癥兒童。否則，這個百分比還會更高。

   另外還有百分之三十沒有能力進正常班，或是有能力但行為上卻不能的自閉兒，也可把他們安排在輕度啟智班上課。由于啟智班的人數在十二人至十四人之間，可讓老師有時間對他們個別處理，而不致于遭受忽視。
另外，還有百分之五十的自閉兒呢？除了安排他們與中重度啟智班上課外，也可送往離家近的私立特殊教育機構，以便讓父母親能就近照顧。
