孤獨癥教育療法

    在一九六Ｏ年代末期及一九七Ｏ年代初期，由于自閉癥不再只被視為精神分裂的一種或是肇因于心理社會方面的因素，因此自閉癥的療育也有重大改變。取而代之的是重視有助自閉癥社會人際，語言能力，及認知功能方面發展的方法。
    在教育界，開始強調自閉癥適性教育之重要，在學校設施方面，亦擴大因應而涵蓋學前教育，通學或住校、畢業后之輔導措施，許多學者研究皆顯示，自閉癥兒童接受教育時間之長短和其日后之發展有很大的相關，而結構化教學之效果遠優于放任式教學法。
