美研究證實農藥與自閉癥有關

　　綜合媒體報道， 加州一項研究23日指出，懷孕期間居住在使用農藥的農場附近，孩子罹患自閉癥的風險高出2/3。
　　這份發表在《環境健康展望期刊》(Environmental Health Perspectives)的研究，研究居住在使用農藥的場所附近與后代罹患自閉癥的關聯性，不過未顯示因果關係。
　　自閉癥是一種神經發展疾病，嚴重程度從輕微到重度都有，近年來比例攀升。美國當局表示，美國每68名兒童就有1人罹患自閉癥。
　　這項最新研究，是根據美國加州使用商業用農藥的資料，加上約1000戶有自閉兒家庭的居住地址。
　　加州大學戴維斯分校(UC Davis)公共衛生科學系副主任Irva Hertz-Picciotto說：”我們找出研究參與者在懷孕期間以及大約生產時的居住地點。我們發現，這些罹患自閉癥、認知或其他技能遲緩等問題的孩子，母親懷孕期間的住所附近，使用多種類型農藥的情形較為普遍。“
　　研究人員發現，在第2或第3孕期(各為14至28周、28至42周)間使用農藥，增加的自閉癥風險最高。
　　研究作者表示，發育中的胎兒大腦可能特別容易受到農藥影響。
