沉浸式VR治療可以幫助兒童克服自閉癥恐懼癥

　　研究人員稱，讓自閉癥兒童和成人接觸沉浸式虛擬現實（VR）有助于減輕他們的恐懼和恐懼癥。

　　英國紐卡斯爾大學的一個研究小組開發了一種不需要護目鏡的虛擬環境“藍屋”。在這里，人們可以使用iPad控件輕松地調查和瀏覽與治療師一起工作的各種場景，但仍能完全控制局面。

　　紐卡斯爾神經科學研究所的Jeremy Parr教授說：“對于很多孩子和他們的家人來說，當他們試圖避免引發孩子恐懼或恐懼癥的情況發生時，焦慮會主宰他們的生活?！?/p>

　　Parr補充說：“能夠提供有效的治療，看到孩子們表現得這么好，這給那些沒有多少焦慮治療選擇的家庭帶來了希望?！?/p>

　　自閉癥會影響孩子的學習和發展，通常會導致社交和溝通能力受損，很多人還會有恐懼或恐懼癥，這是非常痛苦的，但往往被忽視。

　　這項研究發表在《自閉癥與發育障礙雜志》（Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders）上，研究小組對一組8-14歲的自閉癥兒童進行了研究。其中一半人立即在“藍屋”接受治療，另一半人作為對照組，六個月后接受延遲治療。

　　紐卡斯爾的研究人員Morag Maskey解釋道：“自閉癥患者很難想象一個場景，這就是為什么‘藍色房間’這么受歡迎的原因?！蔽覀冋ㄟ^VR以一種可控的方式提供這種恐懼的情況，我們正坐在他們旁邊，幫助他們學習如何管理自己的恐懼?！?/p>

　　結果顯示，總體而言，接受治療的兒童中有40%在兩周時出現好轉，而在6個月時有45%出現好轉。

　　在同一研究小組發表在《成人自閉癥雜志》（Autism In adult journal）上的另一項研究中，虛擬現實療法被證明對自閉癥成年人有效。
