眾多讀者關心媛媛病情 省醫院愿提供免費檢查

   本報訊（實習記者　尹超）本報昨日報道了西安市灞橋區新筑鎮下雙寨村一名5歲的小女孩媛媛啃光自己手指的怪事，引起許多讀者的關注與同情，他們希望醫院能盡快為媛媛查明病因，及時治療。
　　經記者聯系，省人民醫院同意為媛媛做免費檢查。昨日下午，記者將這個好消息告訴了媛媛的爺爺。但他說，媛媛的父母都在外面打工，暫時聯系不上，家里現在只有他一個大人。由于既要照顧媛媛10歲的姐姐，還要干農活，實在走不開，只有等媛媛的父親回來再帶孩子去看病。記者驚訝地發現，媛媛的雙手好像沒有知覺，爺爺掐她的手，她沒有任何反應。

　　記者昨日還采訪了省醫院兒科專家門診的李大夫。根據記者的描述，李大夫估計媛媛可能患了一種被稱為“孤獨癥”的小兒精神疾病，并舉例說有些患“孤獨癥”的孩子，表現為整日不停地撕紙。另一位醫生估計媛媛的神經末梢可能壞死，使她的手失去知覺，才會啃光手指，否則這樣的疼痛正常人是無法忍受的。
