在家教育面面觀五

伍、家長對在家教育的態度與期望


根據何華國所做的研究指出：大部分家長有「心有余而力不足」的感覺。由于家長缺乏特教的知能與經濟問題，盡管有所期待卻充滿無力感；缺乏特教的知能使得家長對孩子的學習與行為束手無策，經濟問題更讓家長無暇顧及孩子的教育。

研究中亦指出家長對在家教育的成效表示十分消極，對輔導工作的前五項期望：

1.未填答
2.提供教育訓練
3.提供教育安置
4.提供醫療服務、福利等信息
5.提供醫療復健

其中「未填答」一項占比例29％，可見家長對在家教育的失望。此外，家長著眼的復健醫療是輔導工作中最弱的一環，而教育安置的渴望，更是對在家教育安置制度的挑戰。
