自閉癥感官方面的特征

　　對某些感官刺激的過度選擇 (stimulus overselectivity)
　　聽覺的過度或低度敏感 (hyper/hyposensitivity), 有些自閉癥嬰兒會誤認為是聾
　　視覺的異常反應, 如過度選擇 (overselective) 或隧道視野 (tunnel vision),對光或旋轉物體的迷戀
　　觸覺的異常反應, 如聞或舔玩具, 對某些紋理的迷戀或抗拒。
　　嗜吃或排斥某些食物
　　痛覺的異常反應, 如對燙傷, 割傷, 瘀傷等過份或過低的敏感
　　自我傷害行為 (self-injurious behavior, SIB; self-destructive behavior, self-mutilation)
　　感覺統合功能的異常
