二噁英或可加劇自閉癥傾向

　　落葉劑是一種工業合成的毒液，作用是殺死植物或使葉子掉光，有效成分是可導致先天畸形及致癌的劇毒物質二噁英。日本研究人員的一項研究顯示，二噁英在母親體內蓄積后，還會加劇孩子的自閉癥傾向。

　　越戰時期，美軍實施了“牧場行動計劃”，用飛機向越南叢林噴灑了大量落葉劑。戰后，越南出現了很多畸形兒，當年參戰士兵妻子的自發性流產率、孩子出生缺陷率都高于常人，這些被認為都和落葉劑的使用有關。日本金澤醫科大學和富山大學的研究人員與越南軍醫大學合作，以峴港當地2008年7月至2009年1月出生的153名兒童為對象，進行了世界上首個二噁英與自閉癥傾向關系的研究。研究結果發現，毒性最強的四氯二苯并二噁英（TCDD）在母乳中的濃度越高，兒童的自閉癥傾向越明顯。不過，這些兒童一般的腦神經發育則無異常。
