自閉癥的預后

1%-2% 和常人無異, 10% 在語言和社會行為方面有接近正常的菜單現, 在學?；蚬ぷ魃嫌袧M意的進展, 但經常在說話和人格方面有怪異表現, 20% 在社會行為方面會有進展, 但有明顯的障礙存在, 如不說話, 約70% 在各方面僅有有限的進展。
自閉癥的療育方法
目前對自閉癥的研究結果明確指出自閉癥是生理因素所導致, 且極可能是多種因素所導致. 由于自閉癥者的病因和問題是多方面的, 因此, 自閉癥的療育也有許多不同理論觀點的方法, 任何一種方法都可能有它的限制, 因此, 對自閉癥者同時使用多種療育方法可能是必要的措施. 但是有些療育方法缺少實證上充份的支持, 因此在選擇療育方法時要多加考慮. 自閉癥的療育大致可分為生物醫學的療育方法, 心理治療, 行為療法, 以及其它的教育方案和療法 (Heflin & Simpson, 1998; Howlin, 1998; Smith, 1996).。
