英國機器人幫助孤獨癥兒童康復

　　機器人在醫療領域的一個重要應用是，幫助患者舒緩情緒，早日康復，可以稱之為康復機器人。Kaspar是英國赫特福德大學開發的一個幫助患有孤獨癥兒童早日康復的機器人。這個機器人養老院雖然長相一般，但很受小孩的歡迎。圖片中的小女孩幾次在與Kaspar交流后（一次10分鐘），就變得開朗很多，也愿意說話了。

　　Kaspar外表就像一個小孩，與人的交流可由研究人員遙控，也可編程控制。他會說，會笑，會眨眼皺眉，會搖動手臂。Kaspar有幾個版本，最新的版本有硅膠皮膚，最先進的版本還可以玩任天堂Wii游戲機。
