非典型自閉癥, 未分類廣泛性發展障礙

　　國際疾病分類第十版 (ICD-10) 中廣泛性發展障礙包括了非典型自閉癥和未分類廣泛性發展障礙兩個類別, 而在精神疾病診斷與統計手冊第四版 (DSM-IV)中未分類廣泛性發展障礙就包括了非典型自閉癥. 因此若沒有特別指出, 這兩個名詞大致可以互用. 主要是在自閉癥所有的社交互動, 溝通和有限, 固定和重復行為或活動等三方面中缺少一或兩方面的顯著障礙, 無法符合自閉癥的診斷標準, 其癥狀在三歲后才出現. 非典型的自閉癥大多發生在極重度智能障礙者, 由于其功能非常低, 因此無法表現出診斷自閉癥所需要的特定偏差行為. 此外, 非典型自閉癥也發生在有嚴重的接收性語言發展障礙者。
